I can't seem to Activate downloaded Reader my WM5 PDA Phone (T-Mobile
MDA-Vario). Actication site immeadely displays "You have an older version of
Pocket PC which does not support Activation. Activation requires Pocket PC
2002 or later."

I have two XP PC sync set up, both using IE7, one is using the Latest
version of Activesync and the other 4.2 (as I use that PC as a Backup).

As for the Hotmail Account I'm trying using, I've had it since January 2002.
And so far only my Primary PC's Desktop Version has been Activated, a few
days ago, just before I installed the PPC Version.

I've got Admin rights, I can install on both PCs.

I'd like to be able to read some book on the Bus, not my Bedroom.

I am gettin the same error with a WM5 device that I just got. Have been
able to activate Pocket PCs in the past without a problem.

Anyone from Microsoft out there??

Figured out that I need the OEMInfo.xml file and have sent an email to
try to obtain this.

Did not find this solution in the MS Knowledgebase, would be nice if
it was noted there.
