Per Microsoft direction: need oeminfo.xml

I just recently purchased a Verizon XV-6700 smart phone. As with others, I
have been unable to activate the Reader. Microsoft informs me that I need
the oeminfo.xml and has suggested that I post to the forum. I have contacted
the manufacturer (UTStarcom) and they have no idea what I am talking about.
Can someone help me here? Thanks.

Your device is originally manufacturer by HTC and rebranded through
UTStarcom. If HTC can't provide you with the file please send email to
***@comcast.net and I will send you the file with installation
instructions that should resolve your activation issue.
